6" Baldor Carbide Grinder Wheels? Guys pick up this grinder with the purpose of sharping HSS. It was suggested to go with the white aluminum oxide type K wheels but I can't find them that will fit this grinder. My plan to to grind close to what I need on bench grinder then put finishing touches using this grinder with couple different grits.

I used to run grinding tool bits on the Baldor by the hundreds but using diamond wheels…. They would run about .005 at ID and OD. We would back shim to make the face to run <002, then, mark the up line and true the OD with a dressing stick. You could true the OD of Such high run-out wheels with a dressing stick.
