Story/side quest leveling takes a long time ro level. It's a great method if you want to pick up some gold and gears as you level up, but it isn't worth the time because you can pretty much do the same just by grinding mobs and BAMs(Big A$$ Monsters). Grinding is a waste of time, especially for new players and without elite/xp boosts.

In TERA, I am currently a Level 33 Mystic, and I am still getting a feel for handling the healing style of the game and my class. Outside of dungeons, I am leveling duo with my boyfriend's Warrior. When we are not over world questing, we are trying out new dungeons available to our level, both in the Dungeon Finder and with fellow guildies.

A friend and I started playing TERA and have finished the section on Stepstone Isle and are now in Velika. We are in a party together and have added each other to our friends lists. So far any main story quests we've done have been separate, so we were just doing them at the same time.

Most of the time you level via Bam grind (but it's only really worth with Tera Club XP passive and daily increased XP Pot). Without that i wouldn't even think about start grinding. If you do dailies + grinding with TERA Club you get around 5 - 6% XP on Lvl 69 (it's a little bit more on the lower levels)
